These are in no particular order and some of them were not actually cancelled, they just ran their course and are gone…but are still worthy of being on my list.  And no, I did not write the descriptions, but I will take the credit for copying and pasting!

01. Malcolm in the Middle
A sitcom about a dysfunctional family, the center of which is Malcolm, the middle of the two brothers who still live at home. His eldest (and favorite) sibling, Francis, boards at military school because his parents believe it will reform him and keep him out of trouble. Malcolm often has a hard time coping with his family life.

02. Mr. Show w/ Bob and David
This is a sketch-comedy show. The twist here is that all of the sketches (Even the monolouge) are connected in some strange way.

03. Chappelle’s Show
Comedian Dave Chappelle hosts this sketch-comedy show that parodies many of the nuances of race and culture.

04. That 70’s Show
Eric Forman is a typical high school student growing up in Wisconsin in 1976 with his family and his friends. Together, they have the same kind of joys and sorrows that just about every teenager has while growing up. This show parodied many of the attitudes, events and fads of the 70’s, along with those who grew up at the time and are now in their 30’s-40’s.

05. The Jamie Kennedy Experiment
Jamie turns into a few characters each week and plays pranks on the public. Yes, it has been done before, but this one is the funniest you’ll see.

06. Friends
Six young people, on their own and struggling to survive in the real world, find the companionship, comfort and support they get from each other to be the perfect antidote to the pressures of life.  Who doesn’t miss this show?

07. Arrested Development
Level-headed son Michael Bluth takes over family affairs after his father is imprisoned. But the rest of his spoiled, dysfunctional family make his job unbearable.

08. Everybody Loves Raymond
It never stops for successful sports writer Ray Barone, whose oddball family life consists of a fed up wife, overbearing parents, and an older brother with lifelong jealousy.

09. Strangers with Candy
A 46-year-old reformed runaway and addict returns to high school as a freshman, where she tries to fit in and act hip with girls 1/3 her age.  Unfortunately, she hasn’t quite shed her immoral background or acquired any ethics, and her bizarre family and frustrated schoolmates have trouble interacting with her.

10. Absolutely Fabulous
Edina Monsoon and her best friend Patsy drive Eddie’s sensible daughter, Saffron, up the wall with their constant drug abuse and outrageous selfishness. Numerous in-jokes and heavy doses of cruel humour made this series a cult hit.
