01. The Last Unicorn
Unicorns do not regret, for they do not understand human emotion. This is the story of one unicorn’s journey to discover what has happened to the rest of her kind. On the road, she befriends an wizard cursed with ineptitude and a rough scullery maid. To save her from the wrath of a great bull demon, the wizard Schmendrick transforms her into a human girl. A tale of love, greed, adventure. . .and regret.

02. Kidd Video Kids
One of the earliest Saturday morning shows to catch the swelling MTV wave, Kidd Video mixed pop music with comic adventure and live action with animation, concocting a rocking hit for NBC.
The opening credits explained the peculiar predicament of Kidd Video. Heading up a rock and roll band with pals Whiz, Ash and Carla, Kidd (“KV” to his friends) was sucked over to the cartoon “Flipside” by the power-hungry Master Blaster. But the Blaster was no Wicked Witch; he was a businessman. Master Blaster had his eye on Kidd Video’s hitmaking sound, and the crooked man had dispatched his own band, the Copy Cats—composed of real cats Fat Cat, She Cat and Cool Kitty—to steal KV’s groove.

03. The Smurfs
The Smurfs were a large group of smurfy blue creatures living in a smurfy mushroom villiage. Their smurfin enemies were Gargamel and his cat Azrael who seemed to have no goal in life but to capture the Smurfs. They said smurf so many times in each smurfin sentence that you have to wonder what the smurf the writers were thinking.

04. The Fraggles from Fraggle Rock
The Fraggles are fun-loving muppets who live underground and enjoy singing, dancing, and eating Doozer sticks. The main entrance to their home is a hole in the wall of a workshop kept by an inventor named Doc. Doc’s sheepdog, Sprocket, is the only one in our world who knows about Fraggles. Pity he can’t tell his owner! The leader of the Fraggles is Gobo. He yearns to travel the world of the humans like his Uncle Matt. His friends are the lively Red, the artistic Mokey, the ever-apprehensive Wembley, and Boober. Boober really likes washing socks, even though the Fraggles are barefoot everywhere they go!

05. He-Man
Adam is the mild-mannered Prince of Eternia. Unbeknownst to many around him, when he holds aloft his magic sword and speaks the magic words, he and his pet Cringer are transformed into Battlecat and He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe! He leads a fearless group, sworn to protect the realm and secrets of Castle Greyskull. Along with Man-at-Arms, Teela, and the Sorceress, he defends against the evil onslaught of Skeletor and his army.

06. Strawberry Shortcake
The show might have only lasted 6 episodes, but Strawberry Shortcake’s empire continues to this day. Strawberry was originally conceived by American Greetings in 1980 as a greeting card character. Soon the village of Strawberryland grew lots of friends including Raspberry Tart, Apple Dumpling, Blueberry Muffin,Huckleberry Pie, Plum Pudding, and many more friends she gained on her various adventures. But The Purple Pieman and Sour Grapes were always lurking around to try and spoil the fun.

07. Alf
ALF (or Alien Life Form) is a creature from Planet Melmac that crash landed on earth, and is adopted/taken in by an otherwise normal Earth family.

08. The Dark Crystal (Gelflings)
Another planet, another time. 1000 years ago the Dark Crystal was damaged by one of the Urskeks and an age of chaos began. Now the time of the great conjunction of the three suns is near. If the crystal is not healed now the control of the evil Skekses will last forever. Jen the last of the Gelfings nearly exterminated by monsters controlled by the Skekses starts his dangerous journey to find the missing shard of the crystal. Will he be able to heal the crystal and restore order on the planet?

09. Berry Gordy’s The Last Dragon (Sho-Nuff)
A young man searches for the “master” to obtain the final level of martial arts mastery known as the glow. Along the way he must fight an evil martial arts expert and an rescue a beautiful singer from an obsessed music promoter.  “Kiss my converse, Fool.”

10. Rainbow Brite
Rainbow Brite originated as a Hallmark character and soon starred in her own animated TV series in December 1984. The 13-episode series started on another planet, when a girl called Wisp discovers an end to the universe’s dark times through the Rainbow Belt and becomes the keeper of color. Thus her name changes to Rainbow Brite.
