On Saturday Night, I went out with my buddy Nadine to celebrate her birthday. Her, I and two other couples went to a The Comedy Zone to see some stand-up comedy. Nadine and I decided that our drink for the evening would be Parrot Bay and pineapple juice (mmm-mmm). We kicked things off with a round of some kind of green shot that was on special, then proceeded with the ordering of our drink of the night. We probably had seven of those in the comedy club. After the comedy club, we went to “Dixies Tavern” and then onto “Bar Norfolk” all of which are located in “Waterside” in downtown Norfolk. We had about five drinks at Dixies Tavern and I cannot remember how many at Bar Norfolk. But what I do remember is the last shot Nadine ordered, which she called a Woo-Woo:

- 1 1/2 oz Peach Schnapps
- 1 1/2 oz Vodka
- Fill glass(es)Cranberry Juice

This was the shot that did me in (probably because the last part of the recipe he switched out for more of ingredient #2)! My headache started on the way home from the bars, which was strange, because I thought hangovers happened in the morning? I was up all night taking various mixtures of pain killing medications, praying one would work. I finally emerged from my bed at around 1:00pm on Sunday. Thank god Todd was able to handle the kids, because drunk-ass mommy was not!!! Remind me again why I continue to do this, never learning my lesson? I am sure Nadine and I will be at it again in about 3-4 months.
