Damn You Chatty!

Tagged by Chatty

1. Delve into your blog archive.
2. Find your 23rd post (or closest to).
3. Find the fifth sentence (or closest to).
4. Post the text of the sentence in your blog along with these instructions.
5. Tag five people to do the same.

MY SENTENCE:
Apparently, someone upstairs has said…“wouldn’t it be funny if we picked a family and made sure that at least one family member is sick every week this winter, and sometimes, we’ll make sure there are multiple illnesses, yeah and then we’ll let them just pass it back and forth until one of the parents loses their job from missing so much work, and that family will be…...THE SCANLON’S!!! - Oh what fun!”

I am tagging everyone!  Leave your sentence in my comments, or post it like I have done…whatever flips your skirt!

Ten on Tuesday - 09/20/05

01. My Photos
I can never replace all of my family photos, and they mean the world to me, so they would be the first to go into the truck.

02. My Nikon Cameras
I do not go anywhere without one of my cameras.  I have a Nikon N80 and a Nikon D70 - and I love these like they are my children.

03. My Jewelry
I do not have much, but what I do have means a lot to me.

04. My Laptop
It is basically an extension of my body, so it has to come.

05. The Kid’s Baby Stuff
Things like the bibles they got at their baptisms, their christening outfits, etc.  All those little momentos that I hang onto for them to have one day.

06. Kaiden’s Tickle Blankee and “Blue”
Kaiden would not be able to live another day without her yellow “tickle” blankee and her blue care bear that she calls “blue.”

07. DVD’s
Mostly to have for the kids on the road to maintain some sort of sanity.

08. My Wedding Dress
Not that I will ever wear it again, but I would like to keep it.

09. The Fire Safe
This contains all our birth records, our marriage certificate, our house info, etc.

10. My Framed Warren Kimble Prints
I have twelve of them and they cost me a damn fortune, so they are coming with us!

What would you grab?

Weekly Roundup 09/11/05-09/17/05

This week was a pretty busy week.  As much as I say I am going to start to slow down, I can never seem to do it!  Kaiden’s full-time Montessori is in full swing, and she comes home with something new to discuss every night.  One night she came home and informed me that if “they” ever decide to install railroad tracks behind our house, it is not safe for us to cross those, or a train could come along and hit us!  Good to know!

It seems like Ashton has started speaking so much clearer this week.  We can now say eye, nose, mouth, teeth, hair, spongebob.  He has also developed the horrible habit of biting this week.  He was sent home twice this week for biting at school - I am VERY unhappy about this and have no clue how to stop it, because he does not do it at home.  Everything I have read says that you have to stop it when it is happening, and if I am not with him at school and he does not do it at home…how do I stop it?

We went to the Blues at the Beach festival Saturday night and they had some planes from the air show do a mini show over the beach and three parachute teams jumped and landed on the beach - KAIDEN loved them!  The Blue Angels were also hanging out at the Blues Fest and Kaiden got her picture taken with some of them.  We went to the Air Show on Sunday.  Kaiden cracked us up at the Air Show - they did a bombing demonstration and were dropping fake bombs that were so loud and created huge black clouds of smoke.  Kaiden got really upset and kept asking “Why are they destroying our city?” - HILARIOUS!

You can click the “continue reading” link below to see pictures from the weekend.

On the Calendar for Next Week:
09/19/05 - Kaiden’s Back to School night.
09/22/05 - Kaiden’s Beauty & The Beast Play Field Trip.
09/22/05 - Ashton’s 18 month checkup.
