Lomo Mission #06
Lomo Mission #06: Skin Deep
This is my submission for the Lomo Mission Flickr Group. This weeks mission was “Skin Deep” - This is a photo of one of Todd’s many tattoos. It was taken up close in B&W with my Nikon N80 for a B&W Photography and Darkroom class that I took. I have lomofied it for the Flickr Group. I loved the way these photos turned out originally.
Next Weeks Lomo Mission:
Lomo Mission #07 : Sun Showers
As our big yellow friend in the sky beats down on your camera lens, the resulting shots are light-flared, maybe overexposed, strangely contrasted, and absolutely beautiful. No rain, sleet, hail or night is allowed - just full-on sweaty sunshine and bold, overbearing light. Extra points awarded for having the sun actually in your shot.
This mission ends next Friday (08.17.07).
Have fun!! And don’t forget to tag your photo “lomo mission 07”.
About Lomo Mission
Every week a new Lomo Mission will be posted to get you out using your camera. The missions will come from the handy dandy Lomo Notebook unless we think of something more fun.
In keeping with the lomo style, the photos don’t have to follow the classic rules of photography… it’s about having fun and shooting without thinking.
You don’t have to use a lomo camera or photoshop a lomo effect but we’ll share info on cameras and photoshop tips and tricks in case you do want to give it a whirl.

Flickr Support ROCKS!
I sent in a support email to Flickr back on July 12th asking if there was a way to edit camera info that is listed with certain pictures. You know if you upload your pictures from your Nikon D70, it states that the picture was taken with a Nikon D70. But what if I take a picture with B&W film on my Nikon N80, develop it and scan it in? How do I assign camera info to that photo? Well, I finally received a response and it was a very helpful one!!!

Hello soapbox.SUPERSTAR:Thanks for writing in to Flickr Customer Care, and many apologies for the delay in our response.
There is no way on Flickr to edit or add EXIF data. There may be a way to do it, but I do not know how to do that.

Well thanks for busting your balls and going out of your way to figure it out Joe! I appreciate it. What the hell kind of answer was that? I still love you Flickr, but Joe, I am not so happy with you!

Freezer Pops
These have to be the single most delicious thing to eat in the summer time! I mean seriously, does anyone disagree with that statement? I didn’t think so! We keep them stocked up at home, at the pool, at Dena and Ethan’s house - EVERYWHERE! They are the best! Just thought I would share that with you!
