The Scanlon's have a new address (which I will not be posting online...) as of June 1st, 2012. We found a house that was a super great deal that we could not pass up. Great price, in a great neighborhood, etc. We loved living in the condo, but the kids are super excited about having a garage to put all their bikes, skateboards, etc. in. They are excited to have a neighborhood they can roam and they are super excited about having a "playroom." I am super excited about having over 2000 SF of living space PLUS a garage! We are all very excited about this new adventure. Todd is already lining up new siding for the house. The house already had a brand new roof, a new heating and cooling system, all new windows and all new wooden floors throughout. Todd is going to have to get used to yardwork!!!

Ashton likes to set up his Star Wars guys in my car near my radio, then turn the station to the "Metal Channel" so that his guys can "rock out."  He is such a weirdo.

Ashton has been BEGGING us to buy him some Mario "Plushes" - these are not to be called "stuffed animals" per Ashton.  They are plush versions of all his favorite Video Game Characters and her wants them all.  All the Mario ones, all the Sonic ones, Donkey Kong, etc.  Apparently there are TONS of videos on YouTube of kids making up little skits and shorts using their "plushes" and Ashton loves nothing more than to sit on his bed, and watch these videos on his Kindle Fire.  Todd and I think the videos are completely annoying and every five minutes, as he runs up to me and says "Mom... MOM... you gotta see this, it is so funny!!!!" it takes everything in me to force a smile as I watch some kid with a Yoshi plush on a video say something like "Mario.. itsa me Yoshi... I need you to clean up my Yoshi poops." SO.DUMB.  But nevertheless, he LOVES IT.  Since we told him we were not buying him anything until his birthday next month, he has taken it upon himself to build himself some characters out of legos.

To say I am impressed with his imagination and ability to make-do until he gets what he wants would be an understatement.  The boy just amazes me.  He is driving me nuts with them, but he does truly amaze me.
