Little Ceasars
These were old commercials from the 90’s, but I died when I saw them…
“We give you (2) pizzas, not (1) pizza and a box…” - “What am I going to do with a box?” - “Ever heard of oragami?  It’s a pterodactyl, Aww, Aww”

Dairy Queen
The one where the guy is wearing a baby carrier and the baby head butts him to get to the blizzard and then kicks him in the crotch.

Las Vegas
All the ones that came out stating “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” - those were hilarious!

Budweiser
The one that shows the real reason behind Janet Jackson’s Superbowl wardrobe “malfunction” - and many more, they always have good ones!

Staples
The one where the grandma tries taking everyones picture with a stapler to let them know she needs a digital camera.

Chevrolet
Where all the kids have soap in their mouths because, as they reveal at the end, they said “Holy Shit” when they saw the new Chevy truck.

AOL
The AOL commercials with Mikey from Orange County Choppers were hilarious.

Reebok
The “Office Linebacker” - I cried when I saw this.

7-UP
The 1 Million Dollar Slam Dunk Truck, where everyone keeps trying to dunk into the hoop on the back of the truck.

Mastercard
The Homer Simpson one.

Ahh! Memories…

Click on the picture to enlarge.

Dena just emailed me an old photo of us and made me pee in my pants.  This was taken in 2000 at Bush Gardens.  Our boss (the guy to the left of me in the picture w/ his wife) took all the women in the office to “The Kings Mill” in Williamsburg, VA for the weekend.  Limos picked us up on Friday morning from work to wisk us away for our weekend of pampering.  Dena and I stayed drunk the entire weekend, starting before the limos got to the office that Friday.

Everyone got their own rooms, but Dena and I chose to bunk together.  On Friday night we went to Bush Gardens.  Saturday, we all had Spa Appointments.  Saturday night we had a four star dinner.  During the dinner we had to be moved to a private room, because we were so loud.  Also in this room were all the guys from Bacardi USA.  Towards the end of the meal, my boss made me stand on my chair and tell a really nasty joke to the entire room.  We were then invited to one of the Kings Mill bars to drink, where the guys from Bacardi picked up our $3,000.00 bar tab.  Our boss had never been so proud of us - of course, Dena and I had to be escourted out the back door of the bar and driven to our room in a golf cart at 2:00 in the morning (due to promises we made in order to get the tab paid for).  Dena somehow pursuaded the Kings Mill employee to let her drive, making that night the first time I ever went 4-wheelin in a Golf Cart!  The next week back at the office, we received a couple of cases of Bacardi, with a card that said, “Thanks for a good time!”

Man, that was a fun weekend!  Thanks for emailing me the picture, Dena!

Happy Birthday to Ethan!

Today is my friend Dena’s son Ethan’s birthday.  Dena is a very good friend of mine, her and I worked together and were pregnant at the same time.  Ethan is about 3 months older than Kaiden and turned 4 years old today.  Looks like he and Kaiden enjoyed cupcakes today at school, I am sure that they fought for 20 minutes beforehand.  They can’t do anything without fighting about it, yet cannot wait to see each other every day.

Happy Birthday buddy, we will see you tonight!

Weekly Roundup 07/17/05-07/23/05

Man, what an uneventful week!  Me-work, Kids-daycare - that’s it.  I did get a pedicure this weekend, which believe me, was much needed.  Todd took the kids to his Mom’s house on Saturday, so they got to swim in the pool and wear themselves out - and I got to enjoy a day at home with no noise!  Of course, I did have to do my housework, but I don’t mind doing it as much when I can go at my own pace, and don’t have (2) small children at my heels while I am doing it.

Oh yeah, I registered for school.  Ashton is finally at a point that he can be handled by one person, so I am going back to school.  So I registered for a web design class.  This is something I have been tinkering and self-teaching myself since Ashton was born and I started my family website - it is high time I learn the correct way of doing things instead of the “Misty Way.”  Since then, I have gotten better with my site and done a couple for some friends and family.  Here are a couple I have done:

Nadine’s Candle Shoppe (My best friend’s candle site)
Plague the Suffering (Hubby’s best friend’s metal band site)
Brevard H2O (My sister’s college soccer team’s reunion site)

That’s it for this week.

On the Calendar for Next Week:
07/25/05 - Ethan’s Birthday
07/28/05 - Lunatic Luau
07/30/05 - Dena’s Candle Party

Photo Request Weekend

Well, I have totally been neglecting my beautiful Nikon D70 Digital camera (after I raved to MommaK about it and told her she must get one).  So, as she did on her site and others have done on their sites, I will on mine - I will take photo requests this weekend.  Leave me a comment and tell me what you wanna see.  Please no crazy requests.  I will post them periodically throughout the weekend.  Check back to see your requests.

REQUEST NO. 1
From: Mouthy Mom
Requested: Inside of Fridge

Here is my fridge, beautifully decorated in “Kaiden Art”

Here is the inside of my fridge.  It is a bit bare, because we are due for a grocery store run.  But we always have plenty of milk, go-gurt and regular yogurt.  Plus some quick microwaveable bacon - a must have!

REQUEST NO. 2
From: Chatty
Requested: View from your living room window…

We live in a very long, narrow house.  Our living room is in the back of the house, so our main view is out the back sliding glass door.  Our back yard is not “cleared” and beyond our land are protected wetlands.  We don’t need much of a yard, because we live at the beach, plus there is a nice park at the end of our street.  The wooded lot keeps things private for us, since the beach gets so busy in the summer.

REQUEST NO. 3
From: MommaK
Requested: Where I Blog & Something Beachy

You can find me blogging from my laptop, usually at our bar-style countertop, where I can swivel right around and watch T.V.

As for something beachy…I give you my children, who just came home from down at the beach with daddy.  One is passed out and our other (the non-sleeping one) of course is ready for more action.

REQUEST NO. 4
From: Mayberry
Requested: View from my front door & Self-timer shot

This is the view from my front door.  Our street is a great mix of new and old houses, which I love!  I am also showing you the view of my house from my neighbors.

Self-timer shot - My little Kaiden, still looking lovely from the beach…

REQUEST NO. 5
From: TJ
Requested: Bathroom Counter

Here is my downstairs bathroom counter.

Here is my upstairs guest/kids bathroom counter.

Here is my master bathroom counter.

REQUEST NO. 6
From: Dawn
Requested: My favorite purse and what’s inside it.

I had done this a while back, and sadley, nothing has changed, so I will just re-post those pictures.
