I HATE YOU PEPSI!

Okay, I am convinced that Pepsi is the devil’s water.  I was never a big Pepsi drinker growing up - I liked Dr. Pepper and Mountain Dew.  Since the birth of my son Ashton, I have become addicted to Pepsi - and I am not joking here!  Currently I am trying to break this addiction, as it does not support my efforts in my latest diet plan, but Pepsi is not making it easy on me.  When I get thirsty, I am thirsty for Pepsi, nothing else will do.  I would rather have a Pepsi than dessert at night - what the hell is wrong with that?

I started drinking it because I went through some pretty bad Post-Partum with Ashton, and with that came some bad headaches.  The mix of caffeine and sugar helped the headaches.  Now I get the headaches when I don’t have a Pepsi.  I am convinced that crack is somehow used in the process of creating the devil water!  Yep, it is!  Just as I suspected.

Also, I am much more irritable when I do not have any hell-brew on hand!  I get angry at things like this:

Who the HELL is the bright bastard at Wendy’s behind this idea?  Who would think that bright orange sunglasses are an appropriate “toy” in the kid’s meals.  Quite obviously the jackass does not have kids.  Any other non-educational piece of crap toy would have been just fine, but now I am stuck with a 3 year old daughter who wants to wear these ugly-ass things everywhere we go.

I HATE PEPSI AND NOW I HATE WENDY’S TOO!

P.S. I have to go to my Weight Watchers meeting tonight and fess up that I have not been good ALL week-I think I will blame Pepsi for this too!

Time to Get Motivated!

Well, last night I broke down and joined Weight Watchers.  I am really unhappy at how long I have let myself go with losing the baby weight from Ashton.  I have tried doing it on my own, but lose motivation so quickly now that I have two kids.  I didn?t have this problem after Kaiden.  I have been paying for ?Curves? for a damn year now and am the same weight, if not more than when I started.  Of course their hours are really not conducive to a full-time working mother of two, which is supposed to be a target group for them?  Wake Up Curves!!!

I don?t need to be super thin (as was my goal prior to marriage and kids); my main goal here is to be able to run again.  I used to run 3 to 5 miles a day ? and I never felt better!  I want that feeling and motivation again, and I want my kids to be raised in a healthy household.  So we?ll give this a try!  Thank god my friend Dena is doing it with me!!!

Anyone have any experience with Weight Watchers?

The Rings are OFF!

Previously I posted that I coudn’t get my wedding rings off (Reason #24 to lose the baby weight) and that I had developed some dry skin under the rings. Well, this weekend while I was in Philadelphia visiting relatives, the problem got worse and my finger hurt so bad that I had to go get the damn rings cut off. See below:

Well, if that wasn’t depressing, I do not know what is!!!

Reason #24 to lose the baby weight:

I have recently gotten extremely dry skin on my finger under my wedding rings due to washing bottles all the time. So now I cannot get my damn rings off to let my skin heal because I am still lugging around all of the baby fat. I tried so hard to get these rings off tonight that now my finger is so swollen it has doubled in size. I tried lotion, shampoo, soap and vegetable cooking oil and nothing!

Funny how I wanted those rings on my finger so bad and now I just want them OFF!

Can’t Move…Must Sit Down!

Well, I can barely move tonight as I type this, due to the fact that I forced my fat butt back to working out today. I feel that I have let myself go long enough without working out (since my son was born 10 months ago to be exact), and besides, people are starting to not believe me when I say that I just had him 3 weeks ago, since he can almost walk now. So I went to “Curves” during my lunch break today. The sad part of this story is that I have been paying for this membership for about a year now and have probably been a whopping total of 10 times. But, as with the other 10 times, I have promised myself that I will stick with it this time. You see my ultimate goal is to start running again…we’ll see if that happens. So I will now be dragging my sore sack of bones to bed now… tune in tomorrow to see if I actually go two days in a row.
